LTC CARLSON, RONALD W. to TAPs

He was born August 20, 1940, in Chicago, IL, to the late Edwin and Virginia J. Noren Carlson.  Ron served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lt. Colonel.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Dubuque, IA, and his MBA in Accounting from Butler University. He was last employed as a civilian at Ft. Benjamin Harrison U.S. Army Finance Command as a Staff Systems Accountant.

Visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jane E. Roach Carlson; children, Marc E. Carlson (Dori) and Lori J. Nelson (Kevin); and granddaughter, Zoe E. Carlson.
