Dick Pedersen Status
2741, 27 Oct 2020Dick Pedersen has been a staunch supporting member of RAFINO since the beginning. Dick holds the current record for the most reunions attended by any current member.
Some of you may be aware that Dick, after valiantly fighting back from a devastating stroke, is in yet another battle, this time with cancer.
We received this update from his son, Arne:
I am going to provide an update on my Dad regarding his Epic, Cage Match with cancer.Since he began the current modality of treatment, his cancer spots have begun to reduce in size. Not by leaps and bounds but still reducing. This is big news as the Iron Man keeps up the fight! As I have been praying for eradication and healing from cancer, this is answered prayer before my eyes. The love of the Lord runs strong in this family.I covet all your prayers for him as the Lord still has more work for him to do before calling him home.
Please keep Dick and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

What a fighter! One of our very best. Was privileged to work for him in Indianapolis on the JACS project. Learned a lot from him. Hope we will see him next year in Charleston. Keep the faith.

Hey All,
At the FInance School, I was previledged to have Dick as a student. He was always after me to slow down because once he dropped his pencil while takiing notes and lost five pages of information before he could pick it up. Ha, Ha.
