Regimental Week 2019

From 1-3 May I represented RAFINO at FMS, Ft. Jackson during Regimental Week 2019. I was joined by our South Carolina RAFINO Recruiting Representative, SGM (ret.) James Tourgee. During our time there we were able to promote and recruit for our retired finance organization. As of today, five new members have signed up as a result of our efforts. Jim and I interacted with a lot of potential, down the road members that are in their 16-18 year of their careers. Hopefully, when they become eligible to retire, they will join us.

In addition to our recruiting effort, Jim and I attended several social activities and were able to rekindle some old relationships. My wife, Karen and I also attended the Regimental Ball with several other RAFINO members. CSM Penn, CSM, FMS presented plaques from RAFINO to the NCO and Soldier of the year.

My thanks to the FMS leadership for their support and hospitality during our visit. Looking forward to next year.
