$$$ to Give Away

I have been asked to lead a discussion, at the Albuquerque reunion, about the RAFINO charitable donations. I am, of course, happy to do it; however, I would like to hear from you with some guidance as to what your thoughts are. We have given gifts of up to $5,000 in the past to specific organizations. While the exact total amount available for donation will be determined by our Treasurer, Imre Volgyi, I would like input from you regarding what 501c(3) organizations, or other not for profit public organizations, you would like to see benefit from our gifting.

I nominate Fisher House, a 501 (c) (3) highly rated charitable foundation that provides lodging for family members visiting/attending wounded or sick service members.

One of the military charities that I give to is Fisher House. They seem to have a good reputation.
