Hannams Now U.S. Citizens

David and Janet HANNAM are now U.S. Citizens.  Janet wrote:
“Twenty-five years ago I never dreamt that we would be sending this
email!  However, time changes many things!  After years of working, I
guess towards this day, David and I know that this is the road God has planned for us to travel.  We arrived at this point, knowing that our parents walked part of this journey with us; my father predicting that one day we would live in the United States. 

We are proud to say that David and I successfully completed our
scheduled interviews for American Citizenship in Fort Worth this morning (9 July) at 6.30 am!  We were staggered to be invited back for 1.30 pm this afternoon to take the Oath of Allegiance.  It was a highly, emotionally charged occasion as you may imagine.  We are going out to celebrate this-evening with dinner at a special restaurant.

Our heads are still spinning......and we fly to Fort Myers tomorrow
for one week's vacation and not even a suitcase has emerged yet from
the closet!” (Editor: David was one of our exchange officers from the Royal Pay Corps in the late 1970’s.)
