1. (NEW) The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA (FM&C)), Comptroller Proponency Office is now accepting applications for the Defense Comptrollership Program (DCP) Cohort 2020 NLT 18 OCT 18.  The DCP is a long-term training (LTT) opportunity for Civilians and Military personnel from all services and career programs.  The DCP is open to grades GS-11-13. However, GS-14 personnel may apply.  Army Military selection priority is for Active and Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) in ranks senior Captain-Major, Sergeant First Class, Master Sergeant, and junior Sergeant Majors.

2. Submit your application now for Training with Industry (TWI) Program, a work-experience program designed to provide extensive exposure to managerial techniques and industrial procedures within corporate America to competitively selected officers and non-commissioned officers. Training received usually is not available either through the military school system or private university system. Following the participants' tenure at the commercial company, they are placed in a validated utilization assignment for two years. Participants also incur an active duty service obligation of three for one computed in days.

1. FMNet highlights the Ultimate Training Environment System (UTES) Community of Interest (COI).  For all users who are not familiar with UTES or how to leverage this tool to conduct home station training, a blog posted within UTES COI provides an overview.  (https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/afms/utes/blog/2017/11/27/utes-overview)  We encourage our users to leverage this superb tool; where Financial Managers (FM) military and civilian, can train on identical systems used in real-time to provide Operational Contract Support (OCS)/Procure-to-Pay Business Process at home station.  Users can train together in the same room or across the globe.

2. Update to the US Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) training Guidance, for all wishing to attend the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston (FRBB) E-Commerce Training event.  The training is for select personnel of FORSCOM deploying Financial Management Organizations.
