FMNET Message 23 MAR 2018

2235, 26 Mar 2018

FMNet Members:

1.“Tipping point is that thrilling moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.”  (2018 Gladwell)  The Financial Management School (FMS) is ecstatic to announce that the number of subscribers is approximately 5K, from our modest start in December 2016.  We have a total Enterprise population of ~16K financial managers.  To that end, we are nearly two-thirds away from reaching and engaging our entire community via FMNet.  Here at the schoolhouse, we encourage all our subscribers to share this great news and recruit influential professionals to reach the maximum number of financial managers.  'Each One, Reach One'

Training Opportunities:

1.FMNet highlights the Ultimate Training Environment System (UTES) Community of Interest (COI).  For all users who are not familiar with UTES or how to leverage this tool to conduct home station training, a blog posted within UTES COI provides an overview.  (https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/afms/utes/blog/2017/11/27/utes-overview)  We encourage our users to leverage this superb tool; where financial managers (military and civilian) can train on identical systems used in real-time to provide Operational Contract Support (OCS)/Procure-to-Pay Business Process at home station.  Users can train together in the same room or across the globe.
