CSM RYEN G. BERGHAMMER To TAPS
2167, 05 Jan 2018CSM-Retired Ryen Gilbert Berghammer age 58 of Henagar, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. A Memorial service was held 30 Dec 2017 at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with military honors. The family requests no flowers.
Ryen was a native of Athens, Wisconsin. A 30 year, US Army Finance Corps military veteran, he joined the service immediately after graduating from High School and retired in 2007. During his Army career he served in Germany, Alaska, Japan, Hawaii, and numerous stateside installations.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Brenda, daughter, Kim Slattery(Nate), son Jeffrey.
