MSG JEFFERY B. PENICK To TAPS

2163, 28 Dec 2017

MSG JEFFERY B. PENICK passed away 12/26/2017.

Sad to learn of the passing of Duke (Jeff Penick)

Eileen shared "Yes, my handsome and fun husband is no longer with me. Jeff died after complications with pneumonia on Tuesday. I am so grateful for the adventurous and fun years we had together, literally traveling the world, and living in interesting and fascinating places. What better memories could I ask for. Thank you all for your kind and loving responses."

They were in the process of moving back to Denver when he got sick with pneumonia and died. Eileen ad him cremated and will bury him at a National Cemetery in Colorado at a later date.

I saw on FB this am (His wife Eileen’s page) that Jeff Pennick died unexpectedly yesterday. She said it was from pneumonia.  So sad.

Just learned it myself from Eileen. I’ve put up a notice on the Face Book Group Page. Sad news, again!

Glenna and I am very sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. We thoroughly enjoyed are time spent with Jeff and Eileen at the last Reunion. They did a great job Hosting the Reunion!!

Strongly recommend we all keep up on having our pneumonia shots (my doctor recommends every five years. Check with your doctors)

Our Best to you all this coming New Year.

 Glenna & Jim Martens

Jim Marten's comments are right-on regarding Eileen and Jeff, and pneumonia shots. My shots are taken annually in two increments, a basic and a booster shot three months later.
Jeff and Eileen's hard work will be lasting inspiration for future reunions.

Prayers for the family. Jeff was a great guy. Talked to him many times at several reunions. May God watch over him in Heaven and may he Rest In Peace.

Val and I are very sad to note the passing of this gentleman.  We knew him only from our last reunion, but he was a fun guy and ready to host another reunion there in Vegas.  A great personality will be missing from our members.  Eileen may he rest in peace.

Eileen, my thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and everyone who called Jeff a friend and are saddened by his loss.  It was fun corresponding with Jeff on the Las Vegas Reunion; and his emails usually were spiked with something funny.  He is missed.   Kevin
