Scholarship - COL Jerry D Heard

<>Linda and I just returned from Alabama and while there we were hosted by Ann Heard.  I am happy to report that Ann is doing well and seems to be on the road to recovery from the loss of Jerry almost a year ago.  During the visit with Ann she told us that the JROTC program at Gadsden City High School has started a Scholarship in Jerry's name.  It is an ROTC Scholarship good for Jacksonville State University and can be funded in one of three ways; however, the easiest way, I think, is by sending a check made payable to the Jerry Heard Scholarship Fund and mailed to Gold Tiger Secretary, Beverly Godfrey, 130 Kaylu Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901.  I am hoping you can post this on the RAFINO website and that folks who knew Jerry will contribute to a very worthy cause.
