New Gregory Conference Room at DFAS Indy

I’d like to share news from Bud Klumph, DFAS Indianapolis, Chief of Staff – “We have elected to dedicate our Audit Readiness Director's Conference Room as the Ernie Gregory Conference Room.  The Audit Readiness Director, Mr.Tony Hullinger, SES, readily agreed.  The room is located on the second floor, main corridor, next to the MG Emmitt J. Bean Conference Room.  It will be highly visible as this is a heavily trafficked area.” 

Personally I’d like to thank Bud [Klumph] for his leadership on this project, as we’ve discussed his vision for this tribute before Ernie’s tumor was diagnosed.  Also, to the DFAS Indianapolis Operations Director, Mr. Gregory Schmalfeldt, thank you for all you do leading DFAS Operations, and for being at the forefront of this specific tribute to Ernie. 

It will take time for memorabilia to be collected from Ernie’s home, and transported/arranged in the conference room.  When everything is ready and the dedication ceremony is announced, we will get that word to everyone.  Hopefully some of you will be able to make the ceremony in Indianapolis.
