MRS. KIPI DAYE to TAPs

Kipi Daye, Widow of SGM Merle DAYE, passed away on 26 Feb 2015

Kipi was very specific in her instructions upon her death and had no family here at all, only a sister in Germany. Her best friend was in charge of everything. I was second in command in case Sharon couldn’t do it, which she is. There was no funeral (just a small celebration of life service at her church) and she was cremated. I will ask and if there is an obit make sure I send it to you. I’ll follow up and keep you posted  Yes, she was a great lady! Her death was sad because she was just getting over losing Merle, 5 years March 31st…..and was starting to embrace life again and the darn cancer came back! She was diagnosed again in Oct and told she had 4-6 months to live. She went peacefully in the comfort of her own home and didn’t suffer. She looked her radiant beautiful self right up to the very end and I was so thankful to be there with her. She’s back with her schatzie again, I’m sure
