MS RUTH LAMAR passed away 9/24/2010 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Lamar; loving mother of Ron Lamar (Beverly), Judy Chiles (John) and Susan Lamar Seaha; cherished grandmother of Lisa, Daniel and Spencer; dear great-grandmother of Gavin and Addison; loving sister of Susan Grace Burtenshaw. Friends may call at MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME 1102 W. Broad St. (Rt.7) on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at McLean Presbyterian Church 1020 Balls Hill Rd. McLean, VA on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to McLean Presbyterian Church to the glory of God or to the charity of your choice.
