Carlton Davis Slows Down

750, 22 Feb 2013

Received this not from Carlton (via Dave Mikkelson):

I have been paid back somewhat for telling people about riding an elevator at RAFINO where there were six people and three were on canes.  We took the grandchildren to Taos for a ski week after Christmas, and I fell on the first day and cracked my hip socket.  Crutches for six weeks and now a cane for two weeks.  And a lot of snide comments about being too old for such activity.  However, I hope to be back on the slopes next year.  Winter is a good time to recuperate as golf and fishing are poor at this time of the year anyway.

Clydine's knee replacement surgery on November 5th was a huge success after extensive therapy.  She still has back pain but no definite plans on that yet.
Try not to get too retired.  That's no fun.  I spend about 30 hours each week at the bank but need to cut back to the normal 10 hours.

Hope you have a great 2013!
