Stan Gillaspie Health Update

Just wanted to let everyone know what is going on.. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in June 2012 and started chemo treatments in July. Last Wednesday, (after my last chemo treatment on 21 January), I had a PetScan, Thursday saw my oncologist, and the cancer is gone... I will still have to have a monthly blood test to make sure it doesn't return.. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, email and cards these past seven months.. I know the prayers especially helped my healing.. now I just have to build back my strength the chemo took away.. looking forward to being able to travel again and get back on the golf course..

Spoke with him on 18 FEB and he says he is now working through the physical therapy stage to get back up to speed. While checking out the new batteries on his golf cart, he decided to play the last three holes on the course. He reports he is hitting the ball well. Let's hear it for physical therapy!
