LTC OBERHAUSEN, FRANK C. to TAPs

LTC FRANK C. OBERHAUSEN passed away 3/31/2012.

He passed away in Sebring, FL.    He was born July 9, 1924, to Raymond Paul and Locie (Smith) Oberhausen in Fairmont, West Virginia, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2002, coming from Orange Park, FL. He was a Retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army, serving for 24 and one-half years during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian G. Oberhausen of Sebring; son, Frank C. Oberhausen, Jr., Sebring; brother, Raymond Paul Oberhausen II, Tampa, FL; grandsons, Clay W. Oberhausen, Tampa and Dr. Chad (Julie) Oberhausen, Lacey, WA and great-grandson, Ethan Oberhausen, Lacey WA.
Graveside services, with Military Honors, were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Rev. Andrew Conyer officiating.
