Dick Shaffer's Shoulder Surgery

I appreciated your email birthday wishes and sorry I didn't respond right away.

 

I had surgery on my left shoulder on July 16th and stitches out July 23d.  It was to remove a bone spur that was causing a lot of pain as the joint moved.

 

Nice three holes - made a nice triangle- for the surgeon to manipulate the camera and cutter, etc.  I have limited arm movement right now but start rehab on August 2d.  It will hurt a lot at the beginning but will improve I'm sure.

 

Should be nice and ready to hold the beer bottles/glasses or other drinks high when Kay and I get to San Antonio to see everyone.
