New Member - LTC JOHN LINDWARD (John) BELLIZAN

I served in the U.S. Army for 25 years in Finance and Accounting, Logistics and Acquisition Management From September 18, 1979 - 29 February 2004.  From February 1980 to March 1981, I was assigned to Fort Riley KS. 1st Finance Company customer service branch and  67th Finance Company in/out processing branch.  On April 1981 to January 1984 I was assigned to the 558th Artillery Group Finance Office Greece and served in a number of position; disbursement, travel, customer service and commericial accounting office. On February 1984 I reported to Ft. Benning GA Officer candidate Scchool and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant June 1984.  From June 1984 to February 2004 I served in a varity of Logistics and acquisition position.  

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA., Master of Science degree in Contracting Management and Systems Acquisition Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne Florida, a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College, the Defense System Management College for Program Management, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Military awards include:  The Superior Meritorious Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Joint Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Accommodation Medal, Army Accommodation Medal, Joint Achievement Medal, and Army Accommodation Medal, National Defense medal,  Humanitarian medal, NATO Medal, UN Medal.
