2640, 31 Jan 2020I started my service on the 8th of June 1962 at Fort Jackson, SC. This was followed by AIT at Fort Harrison. AFter school I went to Fort Lewis, WA. I requested to go overseas and was sent to the 8th Inf Div, Bad K. There I got into some trouble and reenlisted for Italy. While in Italy I met and married my lovely wife Sharon. When I returned to the US I went to Ft. Richie, MD. Other assignments include Ft. Bragg, NC, Ft. Huachua, AZ. Ft. Shafter, HI, 1st Inf
Div , Viet Nam, Ft. Bliss, TX, I attended Class 23 of the Sgt Maj Academy and finished my service on 1 Dec 1986 as the Sgt Maj of the Finance School.
