FMNet Members:

1. Recently the Financial Management School (FMS) hosted the Army Financial Management Workshop, here at FT Jackson.  Additionally, I posted a link for all attendees to fill out and receive Continuing Education Training (CET), Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for their attendance.  Issues have been reoccurring with the server and caused a bit of an inconvenience for participants looking to obtain CET/CPE, because of this a hardcopy was attached to the original posting.  Participants can be fill out and submitted this copy, as an alternative,

Training Opportunities:

1. FMNet highlights the Ultimate Training Environment System (UTES) Community of Interest (COI).  For all users who are not familiar with UTES or how to leverage this tool to conduct home station training, a blog posted within UTES COI provides an overview.  (https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/afms/utes/blog/2017/11/27/utes-overview)  We encourage our users to leverage this superb tool; where financial managers (military and civilian) can train on identical systems used in real-time to provide Operational Contract Support (OCS)/Procure-to-Pay Business Process at home station.  Users can train together in the same room or across the globe.

3. DOD personnel involved in the intragovernmental transactions (IGT) buy/sell process are invited to learn more about G-Invoicing (formerly, known as Invoice Processing Platform (IPP)) by participating in a free, two-hour webinar.  G-Invoicing supports more efficient buy/sell transactions between trading partners by ensuring consistent communication and providing visibility.  View the Intragovernmental Transaction milBook site for dates and times of training.
