Training Opportunities:

1.FMNet highlights the Ultimate Training Environment System (UTES) Community of Interest (COI).  For all users who are not familiar with UTES or how to leverage this tool to conduct home station training, a blog posted within UTES COI provides an overview.  (https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/afms/utes/blog/2017/11/27/utes-overview)  We encourage our users to leverage this superb tool; where financial managers (military and civilian) can train on identical systems used in real-time to provide Operational Contract Support (OCS)/Procure-to-Pay Business Process at home station.  Users can train together in the same room or across the globe.

9.For all financial managers working on their certification, please review the intriguing questions on Level 1 and 2 certifications listed on the DOD FM Certification COI.
 Q) I just finished ALC and wanted to start on my FM Level 2 certification. Can i get guidance on using my DA 1059 to fulfill the majority of the requirements needed. Thanks
 A) Your redacted 1059 should be added as Step 2 of the 3 Step process for each of the applicable requirements. I strongly suggest using the Interactive Learning History Worksheet (iLHW) to map your coursework against your given requirements.
 Q) I am working on my FM Level I cert. Under the "FM Competencies", am I able to select any of the courses that are offered in FM Online? For example, the requirement is 6 course hours, however when I click on the "view courses" option in FM online, some of the courses listed, such as ACQ 101 Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, are 24 hour courses and many of the others require prerequisites. Any guidance on this is greatly appreciated
 A) The link below is for the FM Certification User Guide.  Beginning on page 56 there are detailed instructions to location Web Based courses in FM ONLINE and FM LMS.  The FM Certification User Guide is a comprehensive manual, providing step-by-step instruction on the FM Certification progress.
