“I want to thank all those who checked on me during my recent illness. I am doing well now and on the road to full recovery. The Doctor removed 3 feet of intestines, my burst appendix, and one foot of  my ruptured colon. After 4 rough days in ICU and another week in the hospital, I have taken it easy for the last couple of months and am experiencing no serious repercussions. It is a tough way to lose weight and I recommend alternative means. I will see you in Tacoma if all goes well.”
