Ms. ROSS, LOU to TAPS

Ms. LOU ROSS, (Wife of LTC ROBERT), passed away 12/9/2016.Mrs. Ross was born November 15, 1930, in Forest, MS, to the late Evan Bell and Evaleen Parker Allen, Sr. She was a graduate of Forest High School and the Gilfoy School of Nursing of Jackson, MS. Mrs. Ross has been a resident of Columbus since 1977 and active member of the First Baptist Church. She served as children's Sunday School teacher and was a member of the choir, Womens Missionary Union, and Costumes for Bethlehem Villiage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Josephine Therrell and Jane Sparks, and brothers, Robert Allen and Evan Allen, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Bob Ross, of Columbus, MS, daughters, Kay Carlisle and her husband Rick of Grand Junction, TN, and Patricia Duffy and her husband Kevin of Decatur, AL, son, Bobby Ross and his wife Courtney of Ashville, NC, grandchildren, Ben Carlisle, Jordan Carlisle, Morgan Duffy Gibson, and Allison Duffy, great grandchildren, Avery Carlisle and Anna Carlisle, and a great grandchild on the way.
