MRS ILSE KILLINGSTAD To TAPS

Ilse L. Killingstad, age 82, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2017.

She was born on January 10, 1935 in Saddek, East Prussia to Albrecht and Anna Fichtel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 53+ years, Harold G. Killingstad.

Ilse is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her children, Michael H. Killingstad and his wife Raquel, Harold J. Killingstad, Barbara A. Killingstad; granddaughter, Amanda Killingstad, grandson, Christopher Killingstad; sister, Margret Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She devoted her life to her family and was a proud Army wife, with a big heart for children and animals. Ilse was a volunteer with Mad Hatters at Lackland AFB, which allowed her to combine two loves - crocheting and supporting military families.

She always had a kind word and hug for anyone in a military uniform.
