MAJ KENNETH R. MONROE To TAPS
1851, 08 Jan 2017MONROE, Kenneth R., 96, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away June 24, 2008. He had a distinguished career in the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Army and as a small claims court judge in Seminole County, Fla. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, a life member of Jordan Lodge 1339, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Ammon, Jordan, and past supreme watchman of shepherds of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Florida International University as part of its first graduating class. He was preceded in death by a son, James R. Monroe, and his wife, Ruth R. Monroe. He is survived by his spouse, Delores (Dee), two sons, Kenneth R. (Renee) Monroe Jr. and Daniel R. (Jennifer) Monroe, and five grandchildren.
