Please join me in a moment of prayer today – the 1 year anniversary of Ernie Gregory’s death.  While he is no longer with us, he touched our lives in so many positive ways; and his spirit lives on in each of us.  Thank you God for the time we had with Ernie; and please God grant peace and comfort to Johanna, Maura, Ernie Jr., and Jason; those closest to Ernie, who live on with the void left by Ernie’s absence.  May they too be comforted by the joyful memories of Ernie and the special moments and memories they shared with him.
 
Secondly, please lift up in prayer the people of Haiti and the Bahamas currently dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Matthew.  We pray for them – and we pray that God will move the hurricane out into the ocean, and spare our citizens living in Florida, George, North and South Carolina, and our entire Eastern seaboard including Virginia.
