Bob Barnhart

For those of you who knew or worked with Bob Barnhart:

Bob not only retired as a civilian, he also served 21 years in the National Guard
as an Ordnance Officer and a Finance Officer, retiring as a Major.   Bob passed away late
Saturday.   A memorial service will be held on Monday, 3 October (please see

Robert "Bob" Weldon Barnhart, 67, of Sunset Beach died Saturday, September
24, 2016.

He was born October 28, 1948 in Havre de Grace, MD the son of the late
Weldon and Lois Burns Barnhart. In addition to his parents he is predeceased
by a son, Andrew Wolff. Robert retired from the Army National Guard and Army
Reserves with over twenty years of service. He was the Director Internal
Review with the Department of Army.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Kay Hughes Barnhart; sons, Robert W. Barnhart,
Jr. (Vicky) of St. Petersburgh, FL and Timothy Wolff of Columbus, OH;
daughters, Lisa Fleming (Jason) of Salisbury, NC and Alexis Brison (Henry)
of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Josie Barnhart, Lilly Brison and
Emma Brison; sister, Carolyn Choreszej (Wayne) of Arnold, MD.

A memorial service will be conducted Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 am in
the St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name be made to Stand Up to Cancer
