"SAVE THE DATE":  18-19 November 2016 for - the Army Finance Corps Association (FCA) Formal Fall Gala and Golf Tournament.  RSVP NLT 23 Sep 16.  Negative responses are appreciated.

Not later than the second week in September we will send a link ("evite") with registration instructions for each event and hotels information.

The 5Ws:

Background:  The Army Financial Management Workshop (AFMW) will be held at Fort Jackson from16 to 18 November 2016.  On the evening of 18 November, we will have a Formal FM Fall Gala (traditionally called a dining-out).  Mr Speer will be the guest speaker at the FM Fall Gala.

On 19 November, we will conduct a FCA Golf Tournament at Fort Jackson, considered one of the best Military Golf Courses in the world.  We expect Mr Speer (along with other GOs, CSMs, and teammates from across the Army) to play.  This will be a lot of fun.

WHO:  Military and Civilians may attend both events (Formal FM Fall Gala and the FCA Golf Tournament).

WHAT: FCA FM Fall Gala (traditionally called a dining-out) and the FCA Golf Tournament (Captain's Choice)

WHEN: 18 November 2106 - FCA Formal FM Fall Gala (traditionally called a dining-out) and 19 November 2016 - FCA Golf Tournament (Captain's Choice)

WHERE: FCA Formal FM Fall Gala will be held at Fort Jackson, SC - newly remodeled NCO Club.  The FCA Golf Tournament, is at the Fort Jackson Golf Course.

WHY:  To support long standing traditions; build Esprit de corps; make new acquaintances and reconnect with friends from the days-gone-by; expose junior leaders to FM senior leaders; raise money for FCA scholarship foundation for Soldiers and family members; and finally meet with and greet FM Soldiers and civilians throughout the Corps.
