This is one of those "just in case" notes. "Just in case" you wanted to make a contribution/donation in the name of our friend Colonel Jerry Heard, I tracked down the address of the place the family cited in Jerry's obituary: Hokes Bluff Lions Club, % Michael Niemazk, 3879 Old US Hwy 278 East, Gadsden, AL 35903.  Make checks payable to the Hokes Bluff Lions Club with a "memo" note that it is the memory of Colonel Jerry Heard.

PS: As with my other notes, please pass this on to all on your Army address list ... Linda spoke with Ann this afternoon and all is moving along in Hokes Bluff.  Tracy and Jim (daughter and son-in-law) spent the past week with Ann and will return to their home near Atlanta tomorrow.  Recovery is, hopefully, underway but many more days of tears and regret will happen, as you all will appreciate ..
