Notes from Jerry Heard's Funeral

Russ Dowden shared these notes from last weekend's funeral for Jerry Heard:

Sorry this is so late getting back to you ... I did not to any email while in Alabama ... just didn't have the time ... yes, of course you may share the obit as you wish ... all went well ... overflow crowd at the memorial ceremony ... full military honors at the cemetery ... hotter than all get out on Sunday ... good thing the soldiers were all youngsters! ... they did great ... memorial services went well ... about an hour long ... preacher, three songs/hymns by two very nice voices ... about five speakers, including me ... FC represented by Linda and me, Bill Hill, Earl Daniels, Hon Lee and their wives ... all went well ... Ann is still devastated, as are the children, Jay and Tracy ... they are overcome by the events ... closed casket due to the trauma suffered ... a very sad and solemn occasion ...  share any of the info you get with all you want
