Ms. DOROTHY, STRINGER to TAPS

Ms. DOROTHY STRINGER, (Wife of COL JAMES), passed away 1/10/2014, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Stringer is survived by her husband, Col. James K. Stringer, her daughter, Linda S. Pelter, of Jamestown, N. C., and a son, Michael J. Stringer, of Gainesville.

Dorothy was a loving wife, a devoted mom, a doting grandmother and an adoring great grandmother. She was an active volunteer, including over 25 years at Alachua General Hospital, and the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville. -
