Bill, 88, born June 26, 1925, in Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Delmar Gardens South.
Col. Passell was a retired U.S. Veteran, proudly served for 35 years in both the Korean and Vietnam wars; earned a Masters degree in Finance and finished his career as Comptroller for AVSCOM in St. Louis. He later taught Business and Finance courses at Columbia College and Webster University.
He married Jennie M. Lordo of St. Louis in 1973, enjoyed 41 years with the love of his life. He was recently baptized in the Catholic faith through St. Mark Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, son, David Bruce, sister, Harriet Chadbourne, brothers-in-law, Bill Chadbourne, Alphonse Lordo and Bernard Boskamp; sisters-in-law, Nina Lordo and Grace Boskamp.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie, nieces and nephews.
