MS SUELLEN BEYER To TAPS

Suellen Squires Beyer, age 68, of 500 West Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Guardian Care Nursing Home. Suellen was born in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Nelson and Sarah Gibbons Squires, and the widow of the late David John Beyer. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sally Weston. Mrs. Beyer was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and she was also a member of the Officer’s Wives Club. Suellen enjoyed her time volunteering with both the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts and also with the American Red Cross.

Mrs. Beyer is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Hall and her husband William, and Beth Cochran and husband Donnie; sons, Carl Savage and wife Patti, David Beyer, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, and Andrew Beyer and wife Pamela; a sister, Jane Fenger; brother Nelson Squires, Jr.; twelve grandchildren, Matthew Arsenault, Adam Arsenault, Jesse Arsenault, Nicole Cochran, Melissa Kintzele, Hunter Beyer, Jack Beyer, Zack Beyer, Savannah Beyer, Ryan Savage, Chrissy Savage, and Nichole Savage.
