RAFINO Donation to Intrepid

At our last business meeting, a recommendation was offered to use accumulated RAFINO funds for a benevolent donation to the Center for the Intrepid at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.  The motion was seconded and approved to donate $5,000 to the cause.  It was further moved that a committee be organized to present other worthy causes and the following individuals agreed to serve on that committee: Bob Gordon, Russ Dowden, Bill Bayliss, and Elaine McNeill.

Today, per request from that committee, our Treasurer, Imre Volgyi, mailed a check for $5,000 to the center.

Please be advised that RAFINO has always been ready to accept donations from members (over and above the annual dues payments), so, should you feel so inclined, you can contact Imre and make a donation of any amount you see fit to give.
