LTC LAURENCEJ. SMITH to TAPs

On Tuesday, April 8, 2014 Laurence "Larry" J. Smith retired Lt. Col. US Army of Springfield, VA passed away with his family surrounding him. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Carole; sons, Steven and Zachary; daughter-in-law Tricia and twin granddaughters Kate and Emily.

Also survived by his father Jack; sister Sharon and loving aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Gerri and brothers Richard and Kevin.Larry served in the military for 21 years and retired from the Pentagon. After retirement from military service he worked at CACI and TAPE.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's name to The Humane Society of Fairfax County or Little Sisters of the Poor, Henrico, VA.
