We all had a great time in Indianapolis in August for the Reunion. Thanks once again to Ralph DIXON and Dick PEDERSEN for orchestrating the activities and coordinating the efforts of thesuperb Indy membership team. Indianapolis is a first class city and it was truly remarkable to see the changes at the old Ft. Harrison. These Reunions always become exceptional events, because of the attendees.

At the Reunion Banquet several RAFINO members were recognized by the Finance Corps Association (FCA) for outstanding contributions to the Finance Corps Regiment. The Distinguished Member of the Finance Regiment award was presented to James BENTE, Robert FLEWELLING (in absentia), Ronald GIFFORD, Albert LABARBERA, William NELSON, Leroy REPISHAK, Luther SCHWINN, Robert WITHINGTON, and Robert YRJANSON. The Towson Medallion was presented to Leo MANSI. Thank you all for your service. (See pictures on the Family Updates page of this web site.)

At the Reunion Business meeting the RAFINO officers were reelected to their positions with Joe CLUBA elected as the 2nd Vice-President to be the 2004 Reunion Coordinator in Las Vegas. Also during the Reunion a Questionnaire was distributed to attain membership thoughts on future RAFINO operations. Please contact me if you would like to receive a questionnaire to complete.

Bob RADOMSKI has come up with another winning cruise, this time with the Norwegian Cruise Lines leaving from Dover, England on 26 August 2003. He plans to hold a mini-Reunion of our cruisers with Royal Army Pay Corps (RAPC) Exchange Program retirees in London before the cruise begins. Members of RAFINCO have also been invited to join in on this cruise. Please contact Bob for additional information.

Planning has begun for the next Reunion in Las Vegas expected to be held in early fall of 2004. Joe CLUBA and Fred HINSHAW, our on-site members, have been researching hotels and dates and I am sure will make this Reunion very enjoyable. They could use some help in filling out their Reunion team. Please let us know if you are willing to help in any capacity. Our 2006 Reunion is scheduled for the Williamsburg, Virginia area under the leadership of Bob GORDON.

Thanks very much to those members that have updated their dues payments! Every member needs to be proactive in maintaining and expanding our membership.

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes to everyone in the RAFINO family!
