in freedom, Earl DANIELS Two
years ago Earl DANIELS and a retired Air Force Colonel founded the "First
in Freedom" Chapter of The Retired Officers Association, serving the
Roanoke Valley area of North Carolina. This year, he serves as President, and is
proud to say that they are now 50 members strong and growing. They are
actively recruiting new members living in Northeastern North Carolina. In
April of this year (2001) N.C. Governor Easley honored Earl with an appointment
to the N.C. Veterans Affairs Commission representing the1st Congressional
District. Our veterans residing in NC are welcome to contact Earl on
