Thanks for your support
and confidence as I commence my term as President. My goal is
simple, maintain the strengths of RAFINO and broaden the base of
membership. As in anything we do, this will be a team, not an
individual effort. I look forward to accomplishing this
mission of keeping the Army Finance Corps family together for
life.
RAFINO has been well served by
George and Jan Beckett as the steering rod for our organization over
the last 4 years. Thanks to you and all of the other RAFINO
officers for all that you have accomplished. Unfortunately, as
you all know one of our long-standing beloved members and officers,
Phil Anderson was recently called by a higher authority for
membership. To say that Phil "Supported and Served"
until the end is a real understatement. We have had to say
goodbye to far too many of our outstanding brethren. But that
is why it is important for us to have a strong organization as
RAFINO in order to support our families as these events occur.
Reunions don't just happen;
they are a lot of work from dedicated individuals. We have
just had another outstanding event, and Jim and Glenna Martens and
all of the committee staff greatly deserve the accolades from us all
for a job well done. As always, the administrative support
from Bob Flewelling was instrumental in ensuring the reunions
success, but unfortunately, just as two years ago, he was unable to
attend due to a business conflict.
Thanks to all of the committee
for undertaking this task and creating the memories for us
all.
I look forward to hearing and
addressing your thoughts and ideas to make our organization all that
it can be. Please drop me a line anytime at modenny@prodigy.net.
Sincerely, |
