Miscellaneous bits of info

CRUISE 2001 will sail from Boston, Mass on 29 September 2001 on the Royal Caribbean ship "The Grandeur of the Seas." Ports of call will be: Portland,Maine; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Sydney, Nova Scotia; Quebec City, Quebec; Cruise the Sagunay River; Saint John, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor, Maine. For information contact our Cruise Master Bob Radomski.

REUNION 2002 will be hosted by Ralph DIXON and his committee in Indianapolis. Put 18 – 21 August 2002 on your calendar and make plans to join us there.

REUNION 2004 will be hosted by Joe CLUBA and his committee in Las Vegas, NV. It is not too early to let Joe know if you will be able to serve on his committee.

REUNION 2006 has not been spoken for yet. If you have a nomination for the location for this reunion please contact your Editor. If you are willing to host this reunion please speak up.

The Society of Retired U.S.Army Finance Officers (RAFINO)is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit organization under 501 (c) (19) of the IRS code.  RAFINO ’s purposes are set forth in detail in its bylaws.However.Simply stated,its major purposes are:

(1)to maintain and distribute a roster of members,

(2)to issue a periodic newsletter (currently semi-annual),

(3)to maintain a current web site on the Internet,and

(4)conduct periodic reunions (currently biennial).

CAVEAT

The RAFINO membership addresses, fax and telephone numbers, and Email addresses are solely for the private use of our members.  Any other use is prohibited without written permission granted by the Society Officers.


RAFINO DUES ARE DUE FOR 2001.
Assuming that the increase that is on the enclosed light green ballot, active
members should mail $10 to the Treasurer before 31 March 2001.  Dave's
address is on page 1.

MEMBERSHIP ROSTER INFORMATION

A.  MANUAL: The roster that is enclosed with this Newsletter is current with all the changes that have been reported to our Data Master, Bob Flewelling.  If you notice anything that needs to be changed please notify Bob.

B. ON THE WEBSITE: Unfortunately the web site roster has not been updated since May 2000 when we lost our web site maintainer.  Just recently your Web Master has advanced sufficiently in the use of Microsoft FrontPage to start updating the web roster.  If your e-mail address has changed and you are having trouble accessing the roster, I am sorry.  As I get you loaded correctly I will send out an e-mail message that will be sent from the link in the roster. When you get a message like this please access the roster on the web and tell me that everything is OKOr if you cannot get access let me know that also.
