He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Annette (Hawkins); his children, Deborah Wagner, Douglas (Lou), Dean (Kathy) and Daniel; grandchildren, Andrew, Kelly, Aleesha, Nick, Ben, Kristin, Katherine; brothers, Ralph, Robert, Lloyd and sisters, Phyllis, Shirley and Mary Evelyn. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with services following at 1:00 p.m., all in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. Military burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the , Wounded Warrior Project or the .
