SFC Roger G. VENENGA passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
Roger, 59, died at home with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 27, 1953 in Sibley, Iowa a son of Joe and Etta J. (Bents) Venenga. He had served in the Army for 20 years. He had worked as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. He was a member of RAFINCO and of the American Legion Post 56. He leaves his wife of 24 yrs, Patricia R. (Vohland) Venenga; 4 sons, Gary L. Venenga of Surin, Thailand; Greggory L. Venenga of Cape Neddick, ME, Thomas F. Venenga of Biddeford, ME and Randy J.F. Venenga of York Beach, ME; 2 brothers John and his wife Judy Venenga of Pella, Iowa and Larry and his wife Audrey Venenga of Urbandale, Iowa; much-loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; and his first wife Cynthia Peterson of Aloha, Oregon. Forever by his side were his faithful canine companions Jamie Lee and Benji.
