I am a newly retired 1SG (1 April 2021) with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Finance Corps.
I attended Basic Combat Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC. There I obtained the MOS 73D, Accounting Specialist.
My previous assignments include: 126th Finance Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 39th Finance Battalion, Germany; 8th Finance Battalion, Germany; 24th Financial Management Company, Fort Stewart, Georgia; 175th Financial Management Support Center, South Korea; US Army Finance and Comptroller School, Fort Jackson, SC; the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, Fort Jackson, SC; United States Military Training Mission, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and the 369th Adjutant General Battalion, Fort Jackson, SC. I have two fifteen month combat deployments in Baghdad, Iraq (May 2003-July 2004 & November 2007-February 2009) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I've held numerous leadership and supervisory positions to include: Squad Leader; Customer Service NCOIC; In & Out Processing NCOIC; Finance Operations NCOIC; Military Pay and Review NCOIC; Platoon Sergeant; Chief, Accounts Payable / Vendor Pay; 36B Career Management NCO; Senior Leaders Course Small Group Leader; Deputy Finance and Accounting Officer / Deputy Disbursing Officer; and culminated as the First Sergeant, A Company 369th Adjutant General Battalion.
