A few of us have received Facebook "friend" requests from a Facebook account for a "william.tolbert.121". This is in all probability a scammer's Facebook account impersonating the late Bill Tolbert (they apparently found a photo of Bill on the internet (perhaps his "real" Facebook account) and used it to create a Facebook profile.
These are not uncommon. They set up fake accounts and then send out friend requests to folks whose Facebook accounts are found in relationship to the victim. Ann, Bill's widow, verified the account was a fake - she actually got a friend request from the fake account.
When the swindler(s) get enough "friends" they then try to bilk each "friend" using the "Help-I'm-stuck-in-Rome-and-I-lost-my-wallet-and-passport-Please-snd-money-right-away" swindle.
If you get a friend request from that account, report it to Facebook if you can and, for sure, do not accept the request.
