And this follow-up note from Dave Mikkelson:
Hi All - Dick Pedersen called this morning with more details on Ralph. He is in a more serious condition than Dick indicated in his email posted on the RAFINO Bulletin Board. Docs indicate that Ralph may not have much more than a month to go in this life. Hopes are to keep him going at least until his sister can visit the week of 30 November. Of course prayers, cards and notes are greatly appreciated.
More from Dick Pedersen:
Ralph was placed in hospice care. He was not eating and going downhill rather rapidly. It is hoped that he will improve enough to be taken off of it. Continue with cards and letters. FYI - Ralph Dixon is a WWII, Korea (POW for 2 1/2 years) and Vietnam.
